Our Great Patagonian Adventure-Short

December, 2005-Chile y Argentina:
Anne and Vicki embark on a 10 day backpack en Parque Nacional Torres del Paine and then have an adventure getting to Tierra del Fuego, where they go in search of an ice cave with two guys from Israel and nothing but verbal directions from a local sled-dog owner at the base of the "trail." They then go on a 2 day backpack and see no one except a wild horse, the most picturesque camping site, a personal waterfall, and many puma tracks--including the ones left by whatever animal tossed our stove/pot into the grasses away from our campsite.
